Description

Participants at the African Methodist Episcopal Church plaque presentation take a closer look at the newly unveiled plaque. Founded by a former slave, AME services began in Toronto in the 1830s, and the congregation was active in social justice campaigns including the Underground Railroad and the abolitionist movement.
