Description

A pen and ink drawing of the Old Log Gaol, rendered by William James Thomson, and reproduced in the Evening Telegram Series “Landmarks of Toronto” in 1888. The drawing depicts Toronto's first jail and hanging yard that occupied what is now King Street East across from Toronto Street.
