Description
Event participants take a closer look the George Corsan commemorative plaque. Corsan was an accomplished swimmer, instructor, and lifesaver whose pioneering techniques were adopted across North America. Corsan was also an early advocate of vegetarianism and healthy eating. He established a unique nut farm that is now the site of Echo Valley Park in Etobicoke.
The event was co-organized with the Etobicoke Historical Society with Councillor Stephen Holyday in attendance.
