Description
This Art Deco inspired building was originally designed for the Consumers Gas Company, who used it as their North Toronto showroom beginning in 1931. In 2014, restoration of the building was commissioned by Edgecombe Realty, who received an honourable mention at the 2016 Heritage Toronto Awards.
It was also a featured location on our 2017 bus tour, offered as part of the Heritage Primer program. Stops featured past and present nominees and winners in the built heritage category of the Heritage Toronto Awards.
