Description
A tour group leader stands on steps of Mackenzie House at 82 Bond Street. This Greek Revival row house was presented to Toronto’s first mayor, William Lyon Mackenzie in 1859.
The site has been a city-run museum since 1950, preserving the history of the Mackenzie family and 1850s Toronto. It features a replica of the printing press Mackenzie used to publish the Colonial Advocate.
