Description
Osgoode Hall was named after William Osgoode, the first Chief Justice of Upper Canada. Opened in 1832, it was built to house the Osgoode Hall Law School and the Law Society of Upper Canada. Designed by John Ewart and William Warren Baldwin, Osgoode Hall took three years to complete, with construction beginning in 1829.
