72 Crescent Road Heritage Property Plaque, 2020.
Description
This house was built for Martha and Thomas Hamilton, general manager of the Canadian Oil Co. Ltd. It was later owned by miner and geologist Harold Whittingham, lawyer and MPP Robert William Macaulay, and George A. Drew, the 14th Premier of Ontario 1943-1948 and Leader of the Official Opposition 1948-1956. Designated under the Ontario Heritage Act, 2003.
