Description
This Edwardian Classical façade once belonged to the Temple Baptist Church. It was a 1925 extension to the Baptist Congregation Sunday School, which was built in 1913. With a wide central arch and grey Credit Valley stone details, architect George Thomas Evans designed the church in a style unusual to Toronto. In 2021, a new residential building replaced the old Sunday School while retaining the church’s distinctive exterior.
