Description
Designed for the Dominion Bank by architect John M. Lyle, this Moderne building includes many distinctly Canadian elements. The façade features images of farming and shipping, as well as reliefs of British and French monarchs, Victoria and Louis XIV. Native plants and birds appear in the capitals of the columns. The building became a restaurant in the 1980s.
